COVID-19 Travel Update

In spite of the positive outlook, we still need to proceed carefully and In response to the current COVID-19 situation, we would like to share actions we are taking to care for you during this time, including booking with confidence and comprehensive steps to implement new guidance, procedures and practices as we re-imagine our Passover program.

 

We are happy to announce our maximum safety approach during these times for Passover 2022

 

 

Resort 

Mandatory temperature checks for every person entering the resort.

 

Guests will be required to provide a vaccination card or a negative COVID-19 PCR test done within 72 hours prior to arrival.

COVID-19 testing procedure in place for all employees per Grand Hyatt policy.

All hallways and walkways in the resort are open air concept with direct access to your rooms.

 

Strict guidelines for non hotel guests to enter the property.

 

Food & Beverage

 

There will be many outdoor dining areas available in addition to several different ballrooms and restaurant eating locations for extra space trough out the day offering indoor and outdoor seating all day-- Remember! the weather is beautiful in Playa Del Carmen!

 

Food service will be in accordance to the highest level of health and safety following all the guidelines

 

Private family dining rooms with indoor/outdoor patio available (for an extra fee)

 

Payment & Cancellation Policy


– Deposit is fully refundable until December 15, 2021.

– From Dec., 15 2021 – January 31, 2022 – deposit is NON-refundable.

– Final payment is due on January 31, 2022 and this payment is NON-refundable.

• Travel insurance is strongly recommended for both the program as well as your flights. we always recommend purchasing the “Cancel for any Reason” policy so that our guests are fully covered.

 

 

CDC Travel Guidelines

  • Effective January 26, 2021, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will begin requiring all customers returning to the United States from an international destination to show proof of a negative coronavirus test before being permitted to travel into the country. ​

  • Resort will have an onsite facility offering COVID-19 tests for all our guests, and providing all the required paperwork for travel

 

 

Travel Insurance

 

  • We are currently offering a great insurance policy by the highly reputable Allianz Travel Insurance, coverage also includes a 100% refund in the event someone in your party is diagnosed with COVID-19 between the time of booking & travel* (fee applies)

  • Each policy also provides emergency medical care during the tour in the amount of $ 25,000 per person, and many more benefits

 

  • We also offer "cancel for any reason" Travel Insurance (for an extra fee)
